Property in Costa Brava

Costa Brava is located in the region of Girona, between the Pyrenees and Barcelona. This area has really beautiful scenery, with rooftops, draped in rocky outcroppings and green pines to meet the waters of the Mediterranean.

In this area the famous artist Salvador Dali was born and painted many of his works here. The white little village of Cadaques with its narrow and winding streets is literally carved from the rocky ground on which it stands. Likewise the crystal clear water in the harbour, the ancient Greco-Roman site in Empuries, the landscape of the Cap de Creus Natural Park, and the popular resort Lloret de Mar are good examples of the diversity of this area.

This coast has been a very famous tourist destination in the 70s, so most of the constructions are of those dates. In the recent years, people have been looking to other destinations, which have different climate like Costa Blanca or Costa del Sol, because winter and fall could be very wet and cold here. The results of this, is there are not many new developments in the area. However, one can still find some nice promotions, specially in the bigger towns like Lloret de Mar.
